2026 PROJECT GRAD INFORMATION

When:

May 19, 2026 - 10:30 pm - 3:00 am

PowerPlay - 509 NW Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO 64155

What:

GoKarts, Axe Throwing, Bumper Cars, Laser Tag, Arcade Games, Rides, 
Silent Disco, Hypnotist, Henna Artists, Photo Booth, Food, Drinks, Snacks, and so many PRIZES!! 

Food: Pizzas with a variety of toppings, chicken fingers, fries, and cookies will be served upon arrival.  Late night snack of a funnel cake, nachos, or pretzel bites.

TICKETS - $10 - All tickets must be purchased online in advance to reserve a spot on the bus. You will be sent a digital ticket. Make sure you save your emailed receipt or take a screenshot to remember your bus number. (NOTE: Tickets are non-refundable.)

• At senior checkout parents will be there to collect waivers or to answer questions

Bus Assignments - Seniors will choose which bus they want to ride when they purchase their ticket. Seniors should coordinate with friends if they want to ride the same bus. Seniors WILL NOT be allowed to switch buses once assigned.

**REQUIRED**  Complete the two “Risk and Release” waivers for go-karts and axe throwing as required by PowerPlay. EVERYONE needs to complete both even if you don’t plan on participating in these activities. If the senior is under 18 years of age, the forms must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian.

4:30 pm - Seniors attending Project Grad will meet at West High School parking lot and check in on their assigned bus.

​

4:55 pm -  Buses depart LSW for Cable Dahmer. 

Immediately after the graduation ceremony - Seniors can meet up with family, take photos and change clothes. 

​

9:30 pm -  Buses depart Cable Dahmer for PowerPlay. **NOTE: Seniors are not permitted to drive to PowerPlay on their own. If they miss the bus, they will not be allowed to attend.

3:00 am - Buses leave PowerPlay.

​

3:45-4:00 am - Buses return to LSW.

THINGS TO KNOW - 

• Seniors may bring a change of clothes. Bags will be kept on the locked buses during the ceremony.

• For seniors leaving cars, the parking lot will be patrolled by Lee’s Summit Police Department and our school resource officers overnight. 

• Students attending Project Grad, but not riding the bus to Cable Dahmer will check in to their assigned bus after graduation. ONLY students who are required to be at Cable Dahmer early can do this.

• No bags will be allowed inside PowerPlay. Bus chaperones will have a bin to place personal items in for the evening. The bins will be stored in a locked room with restricted access. Seniors are allowed to carry their phones and other necessary medical supplies.

• Students who do not leave a car at LSW must arrange for a ride home after returning to LSW at 4:00 am . 

• Do not bring outside food, drink, alcohol, drugs or vape pens.  

• LSW & PTSA are not responsible for lost items.

• This event is a LOCK-IN and no student will be allowed to leave.  

• Law enforcement will be called for all issues.
