Project Grad is a celebration for graduating seniors that is safe, drug free, and FUN! Following the graduation ceremony, seniors will load buses and head to PowerPlay in North Kansas City for the night (10:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.). There you can enjoy unlimited arcade games, Go-Karts and mini-bowling as well as see a hypnotist and maybe even get a henna tattoo.  Oh, and there will be prizes too! There will also be pizza, a salad bar, and unlimited soft drinks all night with extra treats at 1 a.m. What better way to end your high school career than with memories of one last night with friends?!

When/where do the buses leave for Project Grad?

Students that are attending Project Grad should be at LSW at 5pm on May 16 to take a bus to Cable Dahmer Arena.

Students should bring a change of clothes for after the ceremony.  Bags will be able to be left on the bus, which if a driver is not present, the buses will be locked. Students will be able to use Cable Dahmer's restrooms for changing. We will then board the buses again and head directly from Cable Dahmer Arena to PowerPlay in North KC at 9:30 p.m.  Then we will return to LSW by 4 a.m.

Cars can be parked at West and will be monitored by LSPD and our resource officers. No personal belongings inside PowerPlay, and we have plastic bins for purses that will be in a locked room.

Park in the student lot between the Bus Lane and Tennis Courts. The lot will be monitored by security throughout the night/morning until our return around 4:00am. Cars must be removed from LSW parking lot by 6:00 a.m.

Are bags/belongings allowed?

You may bring small bags for essential personal items only, but they will be collected prior to arrival and kept in a tub and locked in a secure room throughout the event.  Mrs. Ireland or a Project Grad parent will have the key to access that area throughout the evening/morning.  DO NOT BRING:  backpacks, outside food or drinks, which includes alcohol, drugs, or vape pens of any type.**

You may bring cell phones, but understand doing so is at your own risk.

LSW and PTSA are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
